Satyagraha
I'm in Lansing this weekend. Come check it out. www.connxtionscomedyclub.com
For those semi-familiar with my act you may find this interesting
I have been listening to 7 Seconds "Soul Force Revolution" lately. This was a fairly big departure for them when it came out. They had been moving toward a more melodic sound but this is the one that alienated some folks while bringing on board some others. It was alo their first record not on BYO, but instead came out on Restless. I remember rocking it steady in my headphones on the bus to school in 9th grade. It was a far cry from their Ian MacKaye produced earlier stuff which was much more hardcore. By this record there wasn't much punk left in their rock, but in '89 when it came out this was par for the course for many of 7 Seconds peers. The production is basically crap on this thing and it hasn't aged very well, but for nostalga purposes it will do. In fact, this might be the post that alienates some of you. Sorry "Mall Punks".
Still working on making it so www.vinceaverill.com brings you directly here. Hold tight.
That's all I've got.
