That quote comes to mind when I think of the dear old Heidelberg show. It's probably just the taste left from last night, but I swear there were some days when that show was uplifting.

Yes I'm back from Youngstown, and yes it was positive. I had kind of expected the worst and it turned out to be a relatively good time. I had my secret weapon.

I can currently be found on my tour of Metro Detroit couches. It looks like I'll be on it for at least another ten days so let's see some comments, I want to get a schedule hammered out. If you want me on your couch you need to make a case.

Not a huge surprise but it now looks like a major reason Bush didn't sign the Kyoto Treaty was because Exxon swore they'd run a tanker into the ground again or some such shit if he did. An oil company dictating U.S. policy? What's next, "Oil Can" Boyd makes a comeback?

Howard Dean calling the Republican party "the white, christian party" is fucking superb. I like that dude is setting himself apart. It looks like he is serious about the White House next time and is seperating himself from his Republican lite (Democratic) colleagues. Me like.

Once again I am the last to know. I just found out some web site posted the phone numbers of a bunch of Chinese celebrities. On the surface this doesn't seem important, until you remember that Zhang Ziyi is a Chinese celebrity. Sure I like chicks!
