A quick update without souring my anti-sports people...I am unable to beat down the boner that the Detroit Tigers are giving me this season. It's been nearly 20 years since this squad has had me this pumped. I recall Elstan Sippola called me last minute to go to one of the ALCS games that year but I wasn't home so he took Cale Sheppe. Those names are real and the pain is real.
Why is it whenever I'm broke, I suddenly have the appetite of an entire ethiopian village? If I have money in my pocket I'll eat once all day without thinking, if I have cash flow problems suddenly I'm requiring 15 full meals in a 12 hour period, and can't get full. Mental.
Rumors of Superman being gay in the new movie have the Nerd Herd shitting twelve sided dice.
BJS alerted me to the following which can only be described as the quote of the year so far. It's a quote from Britney Spears as to why she plans to have her next child in Namibia
"Kevin has always been a fan of African-American culture," she replied. "I'm sure he'll feel at home there, rapping with all the natives. Besides, there's lots of quiet unpaved roads where Sean Preston and I can go driving."
I'm not well versed in Namibian culture but I hope some how K.Fed gets roasted in a pot "Bugs Bunny" Style. And if there's any truth to the reports on how Spears drives she'll soon rid us of herself and her ability to shit in the gene pool. Regardless of Kevin's fandom related to African Amercian culture, he may find African-African culture to be slightly different.
