Sizing up

Having past the six month point for the year I began discussing with a friend the idea of compiling my favorite songs of the year so far. After asking about a few songs and whether they in fact were released in '06 I was told that maybe I should make the list my favorites of the last six months, but they may have come out at any point in history. So here it is, my favorite songs of the last six months that may have come out whenever. Terrific.
