surp

So I sat down to lunch at a Korean restaurant today. I was the only non-Asian in the place. When you eat Korean, the meal is served with a number of side dishes in small bowls. Typical sides include, bean sprouts, kimchi, fish cake, etc. So I'm sipping tea, waiting for my meal when the sides arrive, and I immediately scan the spread, as the dishes aren't always the same. As I inspect the days offering I see a bowl with an item that confuses me, I think I know what I'm seeing, but it doesn't add up. I ask the waitress, "what's this", and she says, "fried chicken". Well then, I look around to the surrounding tables, and it appears as though, I'm the only recipient of the fried chicken side dish. My calls to the A.C.L.U. have not as yet been returned.
