Would you look at these three idiots!

Anticipation does not even surmise how I am feeling about the above pictured film. Take one shitty old cartoon, make sure everyone has forgotten it even existed, then make a film out of it using high tech computer animation. The only way to appeal to this current generation of Go-gurt slurping kids is to give these nut storing pop stars an urban feel. If they didn't find a way to get Hey Yah by Outkast in there they really dropped the ball. As for the Chipmunks being the 'original' entourage? Yes, Alvin was the break out star of the group but they were all in the band. Simon and Theodore, after playing second fiddle, and going along with all Alvin's power plays with their live in manager Dave Seville, cannot be pleased with the marketing of this film. I just hope they found a role for Patrick Warburton's voice to play. Kudos to Jason Lee, who at one point was easily the coolest pro skateboarder on Earth, and can now be found acting in this shit sandwich. It's a slippery slope that lands with direct to video roles. For Jason I see this as his 8 Heads in a Duffle Bag. Was it 8?



Anybody who's been waiting on my best of 2007 list in order to properly shop for Christmas is going to have to go it alone. The list has been delayed. Rest assured it's coming, just not in time for Christmas. If you just read that and believe there are actual individuals basing their holiday shopping upon what I think, you need to take a couple months off from this site. It'll have to be on the honor system, but you obviously need to take a breather.





I'm left doubting the validity of the Mitchell List (list released yesterday of pro baseball players past and present who supposedly used steroids) since when I was leaving the gym yesterday I heard a yoked up muscle headed personal trainer say "Fuck you George Mitchell, your list is bullshit." So here's a guy who clearly knows health, is in the fitness profession, and traded having a neck for having excellent muscles all over the rest of him, saying I'm not buying this list. So who am I to question?
